Elmhurst Park District 90th Anniversary Celebration

In 2010, the Elmhurst Park District turns 90 years old! Help commemorate the District’s rich history by adding a few moments of your own, and join in our 90th birthday celebration in the summer of 2010 at Wilder Park. It’s the perfect setting for the birthday party because it was the first community property acquired by the Park District 90 years ago. With old-fashioned games and activities, Elmhurst residents will get a taste of what recreation meant for their 1920s counterparts.

The District has planned other activities throughout the year to mark the milestone, such as middle school teen dances that will have a ‘90s theme, with ‘90s music and costumes encouraged.
