FAQ 2024 Summer Camps

How old does my child need to be to attend camp?
The Elmhurst Park District offers a variety of camp options for all ages. Campers must be the appropriate minimum age by the start day of the camp they are registered for unless otherwise noted.

Please Note: Mini Funseekers, Funseekers Day Camps and Camp Canteen camps all calculate age based on age as of September 1, 2025, to place children into the correct grade level pod. If you have held your child back, or pushed your child ahead in grades, please contact Trent Grossman at (630) 993-8678 or through our contact form.

Does the Elmhurst Park District prorate camp fees?
Camp fees will be prorated in whole weeks only and only after the camp has started its session. For example, a camper who starts camp on any day other than Monday, must pay for the entire week they start camp.

Can I register for camp but only pay for the days my child can attend?
No. Campers must register and pay for each camp as it is offered.
