Music

The Elmhurst Park District offers a wide variety of music lessons for all ages including Piano, Drum, Guitar and Voice. Playing an instrument, whether using your voice for singing, or a piano or guitar for music, is a life skill that can have a positive impact on the brain, according to a study from Northwestern University. While neural timing slows as we age, musicians are faster at processing noise than their non-musician counterparts. Come explore the benefits of music in a supportive, creative environment.
